Low Rent Renaissance

The expressions say it all. The tallest figure stands about 11 inches. Made of Super Sculpey over copper wire armature and brush painted with acrylics.

The wall hangings range between seven and eleven inches tall. Made of Super Sculpey and brush painted with acrylics.  

This piece is approximately 12" long by 10.5 inches wide by 13 inches tall. The artist stands about 10.5" tall from sole to tip of brush. The figures are Super Sculpey over aluminum wire armature, painted with acrylics.  

This is a large piece. The figures are about 11.5 inches tall and made of Super Sculpey over steel and aluminum wire. The bricks are of foam board, the floor of craft sticks, and rest are of bits and pieces. All are painted with acrylics.  

  I made another piece with the idea of "blues cats." I wanted them more expressive. The standing figure is about 11 inches tall, and both are made with Super Sculpey over copper and aluminum wire. The gutiar is luan and balsa wood, tooth picks, and thread. Mounted on a pine base.

  The standing figure is about eleven inches tall. The figures are made of Super Sculpey over copper and aluminum wire, the guitars of luan, balsa wood, toothpicks, and heavy duty thread. Mounted on a pine base stained to dark walnut. So enjoyed making this.

At last they have time for a day at the beach! Super Sculpey, acrylic paint, sand, Elmer's Glue, and, as usual, bits and pieces.  She stands about 10".

 Mirror, mirror on the wall...hey...comb your hair. You're scaring me. This is made of Super Sculpy and paper clay over a mirror purchased at a thrift store.  

 These little street singers -- the singer in back is about 10" tall, and the whole piece is about 15". Made from polymer clay, lightweight cement, balsa wood, and bits and pieces.
